Eastend Futures CIC

Building Sustainable Futures together.

Eastend Futures CIC

Standing with the communities of Walker, Byker, and North Tyneside.

Our Story: Built on Trust, Formed for the Future

For over 19 years, Building Futures East was a cornerstone of support in Walker and Byker, dedicating nearly two decades to building deep relationships, earning community trust, and delivering life-changing services.

When the organisation unexpectedly went into administration in December 2025 due to sudden cash-flow challenges, the sudden loss of these vital services left our community incredibly vulnerable.

But the need in the East End didn’t disappear.

In January 2026, three former senior staff members met with a shared determination: we refused to let 19 years of community trust and essential support vanish. Recognising that the local need was as urgent as ever, we consulted with reputable East End organisations to establish a sustainable path forward.

By February 2026, East End Futures CIC was formally established. Founded by the very team that helped shape that 19-year legacy, we are a person-centered Community Interest Company dedicated to ensuring that intensive, holistic support remains right where it belongs—in the heart of the communities we serve.
